You are welcome to access the homebakers site and browse our site without disclosing any personal information.

3. Orders

Your personal information captured when placing an order will include name, e’mail address and your relevant personal details to complete the booking and payment of a cake to be delivered by a baker of homebakers. The Baker will be issued with the recipient details in order to fulfil the order name, address and contact telephone number to fulfil the orders.  We have agreement with all bakers restricting disclosure of data supplied by us.

Your personal information will be used to notify you of the status of your order, and may use this information to contact you for your views on the service.  By submitting a review you consent to us using this information in any marketing or advertising material- we will only identify you for this purpose by your first name and the town associated with you.

Personal information will not be shared with any 3rd parties or affiliates  without your permission, unless compelled by applicable law.

Any changes required which affect the fulfilment of an order should be communicated to ask@homebakers.co.in


4. Security

To fulfil an order we may authorise a third party to undertake various activities such as processing credit card payments and providing support services to us. In addition we may need to provide a baker with your details in order to fulfil an order. By submitting your personal data you are agreeing to this transfer and storing of information, and we will take all necessary steps to ensure it is treated securely and with accordance with this privacy policy.

Third party advertisements may appear on our site and they may have cookies associated with these, to enable the advertiser to track the effectiveness of their campaighn. We do not control or have access to any third party cookies.

We are not responsible for the privacy policy of third party websites and we advise users to read the privacy policy of all other websites before entering any personal information.

We take all reasonable precautions to protect data, and as such use secure transmission, encryption software, utilising SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and will continue to use the most up to date security levels available. However, due to the openness of the internet we cannot guarantee that all data transmitted will be secure, and your use of this website assumes this risk.

5. Bakers

Should your details change, these can be amended on the ‘bakers portal’ at any time.

To cancel your registration on homebakers please follow full instructions from ‘bakers portal’ terms and conditions.

Where you have been issued with a password and requested to change it, allowing you access to the ‘bakers portal’ you are responsible for keeping this password confidential, and we advise you not to share this information with anyone. Unless we disclose this information negligently, we will not be liable for any unauthorised amendments, or transactions entered into using your usernames and password.

This privacy policy may have changes at any time, and these will be posted on our website and if appropriate via e’mail to the relevant parties involved.
